RavenNuke 2.40.00 RC1 Released
Raven & team have released 2.40.00 of the popular phpnuke fork, RavenNuke ™. The RC1 package has over 140 changes / fixes in the change log and addressed a lot of the minor problems users have had in the past. A great project that just keeps getting better.
I will not rave on (*snickers*) about about RavenNuke ™, but I do encourage you to check out the new RavenNuke ™ Documentation for any information you might need about first time installations / upgrades

Installation:
- Download both parts to the theme “Download One” and “Download Two” from the download link below, extract the files using 7zip or similar to your desktop.
- Move the “images” folder into the “Free_MW2″ folder along with the theme.php file (We have to release our images separately under the GPL)
- Then simply upload the complete “Free_MW2″ folder to yoursite.com/themes and activate your new theme via your admin preferences !
- To activate the Flash Clock, go to your blocks admin and set the “Flash Clock” to either right/left position.

That’s right, while other programs require you to pay, the program I found offers you this service completely for FREE, without affecting the quality of the service. I am talking about MailChimp.
MailChimp can be easily integrated with Wordpress, Twitter, Paypal, Magento etc… and with big clients like Firefox, Canon, Intel and so on, it is needless to say that we are talking about a quality product here.
We have been using this service for a while for a couple of our sites, including AllnukeStuff.com. Registration is free, and there are no strings attached. It is however possible to upgrade to a plan that allows more this and more that, but we haven’t needed to do that yet!
